  3. Eddie Higgins Trio's Christmas Songs is by far my favorite Christmas album. Best jazz trio out there. My expectations for this album were very high, and it didn't quite live up to it. It isn't as dynamic as the 1st volumethe songs are somewhat subdued and more like good background music. It's still better than 95% of the Christmas albums out /5(3).
